  Julia Floyd, CRNA

  Owner | Registered Nurse Anesthetist

  Julia grew up in Dixie County, FL. and currently resides in Trenton, FL. She obtained her bachelor’s of nursing at The University of Florida and later moved to Tampa, FL to study anesthesia. There, she obtained her Master’s in Nursing, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license, and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist license from the University of South Florida. While in Tampa, she met her husband John, a Mississippi native and colleague at Tampa General Hospital. After the birth of their second child, they decided to move “home” to be closer to family. Julia has been a nurse for over 20 years, with vast experience in the Cardiac ICU, ER, Trauma, and L&D. She has over 14 years years of experience as an aesthetic injector and has been a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist since 2009. Most of her anesthesia background is revolved around Tampa General Hospital, a level 1 trauma center. However, she currently provides anesthesia for local plastic surgeons in Gainesville, FL. Julia stays up to date on the newest trends and treatments, and is frequently found traveling to the best aesthetic conferences offered. However, her greatest achievements are her two children, John V and William. She spends as much time as possible traveling, exploring, and playing hard with these two vibrant boys and her husband. ​

  John Floyd, CRNA, NSPM-C

  Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesiologist

  John P. Floyd IV is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesiologist (CRNA) who is double board certified in Anesthesia and Pain management. He specifically specializes in ultrasound guided nerve blocks. He has an unwavering energy and passion for helping others no matter what their needs. John graduated first in his class, was vice president of his class, a published writer, and in 2017 was voted best nurse educator in the state of FL. John comes to us from Biloxi, MS where he was born and was raised in Ocean Springs, MS. He is husband to Julia Floyd and father to two boys John P. Floyd V, and William Viktor Floyd. John began to grow a passion for aesthetics 8yrs ago when he learned about the wonderful things you can do to help people with aging, scars, mental wellness, and so much more. Since then he has become certified in injecting neurotoxin, filler/volumizing agents, sclerotherapy, IV therapy, sexual wellness, and hormone therapy. In the world of aesthetics John’s passion is sexual wellness, trademarked Vampire procedures, O-shot, P-shot and hormone replacement therapy.

  Christina Mitchell, M.D.

  Medical Director

  Christina Mitchell, MD, is an accomplished dermatologist with a passion for helping her patients feel great in their own skin. Dr. Mitchell is honored to play a role in assisting, medical direction, and collaboration at Elite Medispa in Trenton, Florida. She is truly an asset to the practice. Dr. Mitchell is a Florida native and grew up in North Florida. She chose the University of Florida in Gainesville for her undergraduate studies and remained there to complete her medical degree and residency training in dermatology. She accepted a position as an assistant professor at the University of Florida in 2008 and remains connected to the school as an adjunct faculty member. She feels strongly about the importance of continuing education and is always searching for programs and training to further refine and expand her skills. Trained and experienced in all aspects of medical dermatology, Dr. Mitchell works with patients to address numerous skin health needs. She is also proud to include medical aesthetics as part of her services and believes that there is a direct connection between having confidence in the way you look and enjoying optimal overall health.

  Rachel Helgerud, R.N.

  Registered Nurse

  Rachel is a Registered Nurse with a background in Critical Care. She aspires to become a nurse practitioner, and specialize in aesthetics. She is originally from a small town in Lake County, FL called Astatula, but currently resides in Newberry, FL. She and her husband Olav are expecting their first child this July. Rachel currently works as a registered nurse at HCA North Florida in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. She has passion and truly loves being a nurse, simply because she finds it so rewarding to help others. Shortly after gaining experience as a RN, she had the pleasure of meeting Julia Floyd, who was able to answer many questions. Since that time, she has attended multiple aesthetic trainings and has focused her education on the science of the skin and aesthetics. Julia will provide guidance in the practice of aesthetics while Rachel furthers her education. Rachel is excited to have the opportunity to help clients achieve their ultimate aesthetic goals at Elite Medispa and looks forward to meeting you.

  Sarah Hurst, R.N.

  Registered Nurse

  Sarah Hurst is a Registered nurse with advanced education and training in aesthetics. At the age of 16, she graduated from both Dixie County High School and Gateway College Summa Cum Laude. After that, she moved to Tampa where she attended University of South Florida. In 2018, she graduated cum laude with a degree in Psychology. From 2018-2020 she was a 1st grade teacher, but decided to chase a passion in the field of nursing. In March of 2022, she became a registered nurse, and currently works full time at Shand’s @UF in a busy vascular ICU and at Elite Medical Spa providing the more advanced and invasive medical aesthetic procedures. In her free time, you can find Sarah on the water, fishing, working out, and hanging out with her dog Willie Nelson

  Logan Andrews, N.P.

  Nurse Practitioner

  Logan Andrews, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC is a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner. Born and raised in the Tri-County area and a graduate of Chiefland High School, Logan knows how difficult it can be to find access to affordable and reliable primary care services in our rural area. Logan has been in the healthcare industry since 2007 in various roles and positions. Logan received his Associate in Science in Nursing degree from Florida Gateway College and his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Jacksonville University. After working many years in post-acute care in the skilled nursing and long-term care setting, he obtained his Master of Science in Nursing degree from Purdue University Global. He has worked as a nurse practitioner in multiple area skilled nursing facilities, ALFs, and at both Lake City Medical Center and North Florida Regional Medical Center. He is a proud member of the Obesity Medicine Association. His main goal as a practitioner is to bring affordable and patient-centered medical care to those who need it most as he takes pride in being well connected to the members of his community. He is bringing primary care services to the comfort of your own home through his house-call program. ​ ​

  Candace Norton

  Cosmetologist | Lash Artist

  Candace Norton is a licensed Cosmetologist and Lash Artist. She grew up in Dixie County and currently resides in Horseshoe Beach, FL. She specializes in lash extensions, offering classic, volume, mega volume, and colors. Candace also offers facial services. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids. When she’s not at work, you can find her coaching her little boys football team and assisting her husband with their local business.

  Bianca Stewart

  Aesthetician

  Bianca started her esthetics career 2008, in Georgia. She has worked in the esthetic industries for many years. Bianca has obtained immeasurable amounts of knowledge of many known skincare lines, products, procedures and techniques. She has knowledge in both the relaxation of the spa, and the transformative procedures of a medical spa. Bianca is also a CoolSculpting and Ultherapy certified technician. She is well versed in many cosmetic procedures. Bianca will take advantage of every practical opportunity to integrate the most productive services for our client's benefit. She will also maintain a peaceful atmosphere for the spa’s most essential ambience. As a license esthetician, Bianca will make our clients’ and their safety top priority. She will ensure that all services are handled properly, professionally and with the highest quality of customer service.

  Brittany Czarnecki

  Cosmetic Tattoo Artist

  Brittany grew up in a small town here in Florida. After getting married, she moved to Palmetto and attended the Aveda Institute. Shortly after, she had two boys who have made her life complete! After being a stay at home mom for four years, she went back to work and learned all about cosmetic tattooing. Brittany has taken multiple advanced training courses to be the best in the industry. She is certified and very experienced in micro blading. She has had the privilege to meet and train with some of the industry's top artists, and is currently offering Microblading, Ombre/Powder Brows, Combo Brows, Lip Blushing, tattoo removal, and soon 3D areola tattooing. She also trains for these services. If not working, you can find Brittany with her nose in a book, hanging out with family, and traveling.

  Cayla Cannon

  Licensed Aesthetician | Certified Nursing Assistant | Phlebotomist.

  Cayla Cannon is a licensed aesthetician, certified nursing assistant, and phlebotomist. She graduated from Elise Esthetics in Orlando, FL, where she obtained her esthetician license and was certified in micro-needling, dermaplaning, and lash extensions. After graduating from Elise Esthetics, she worked at Gainesville Dermatology to deepen her knowledge and understanding of the skin and skincare. There, she assisted in surgery to remove skin cancer and worked in the aesthetics center as an educator, aesthetician, and assistant to the physicians and PA’s during more invasive cosmetic procedures. Cayla’s passion for skincare and dedication to continued education, enables her to provide the best skincare and products for each individual client. Although her passion runs deep in aesthetics and the skin, her biggest passion and accomplishment is being a mommy to her daughter Josey Lynn.
